Description​

Upon a user-initiated request to perform a RESVECH assessment, the system shall calculate a wound severity score based on user-provided scores for 22 clinical items. The system shall perform the following integrated actions:

  1. Parse user input: The system parses the user's provided score for each of the RESVECH assessment items (e.g., Wound Dimensions, Tissues, Edges, Exudate, Frequency of Pain, Maceration, Tunneling).
  2. Calculate score: The system shall calculate the final, composite RESVECH score by summing the points from all 22 items provided by the user.
  3. Assemble report: Generate and display a structured report that consolidates the assessment results. The report shall contain the following clearly labelled data points:
    • The final RESVECH score and its corresponding interpretation (e.g., "Severe").
    • A breakdown of the score and interpretation for each of the 22 assessment items as provided by the user.
