Description​
Upon a user-initiated request to perform a Global Automatic Vitiligo Area Scoring Index (AVASI) assessment, the system shall analyze an image set from multiple body sites to calculate the global severity score. The system shall perform the following integrated actions:
- Analyze depigmentation per body site: Invoke the AVASI model for full body with the whole image set to calculate the percentage of depigmentation for that specific region. This allows to get the final global AVASI score and its corresponding interpretation.
- Generate visual evidence per body site: For each analyzed body site image, invoke the corresponding model to create a derivative image by overlaying a depigmentation mask on the original input image.
- Assemble and return report: Generate and display a structured report that consolidates the analysis results. The report shall contain the following clearly labelled data points:
- The final global AVASI score and its corresponding clinical interpretation band (e.g., "Mild", "Moderate", "Severe").
- A collection of the visual evidence images generated in step 3, organized by body site.
