SP-009-008 Conditions & ICD-11 codes for pre-sales

Scope and purpose

The objective of this procedure is to provide the Sales team with specific details regarding what conditions Legit.Health device supports, their ICD-11 codes and performance metrics (sensitivity and specificity) to be shared with pre-sales clients.

Currently, this information is maintained manually for pre-sales support. In future versions, this data will be retrieved directly from the Legit.Health API endpoints.

Information Sharing Guidelines

To protect intellectual property and manage client expectations, the following hierarchy of information sharing must be followed.

By default, this information is not published and should only be shared upon specific request.

Critical Restriction

NEVER share any file that contains "internal" or "do not share" in its naming or file name. Files with these labels are strictly prohibited from being shared with clients or prospects.

General Sharing Principles

Before sharing any information, follow these core principles:

PrincipleDescription
Minimum NecessaryAlways share only the minimum information requested
Selective SharingIf a client requests specific conditions/columns, share only those
No Full FilesDo not share entire files unless explicitly requested
Request-BasedOnly share information upon specific client request

Information Tiers

The following table outlines the three tiers of information available, ordered by sensitivity level:

TierInformation TypeSensitivityApproval Required
1Standard Pre-Sales InformationLowStandard request
2Advanced InformationMediumSignificant insistence or existing client
3Training Data DistributionHighExtreme insistence + deal breaker + internal approval

Tier 1: Standard Pre-Sales Information

Access Level: Standard request

When to share: Upon request by a pre-sales prospect asking for condition lists, ICD-11 codes, sensitivity, or specificity for specific conditions.

Source file: Conditions & Performance Metrics

Content: The most current file of ICD-11 classes in production.

FieldDescription
Condition nameName of the medical condition
ICD-11 CodeInternational classification code
SensitivityPerformance metric
SpecificityPerformance metric

Sharing guidelines: Follow the General Sharing Principles above.

Tier 2: Advanced Information

Access Level: Clients or high interest prospects

When to share: Only if the prospect insists significantly or is already an existing client.

Source file: Malignancy & Clinical Indicators

Content: List including clinical classification indicators:

FieldDescription
ICD-11 CodeInternational classification code
Malignancy indicatorsmalignancy, premalignancy, associated with malignancy
Pigmented lesion indicatorClassification indicator
Referral priorityurgent referral, high priority

Sharing guidelines: Follow the General Sharing Principles above. If a client asks only about specific columns (e.g., malignancy indicators), share only that column.

Tier 3: Training Data Distribution

Access Level: Extremely Restricted

When to share: Only in cases of extreme insistence where it is a deal breaker, and only after internal approval.

Source file: Training Data Distribution

Content: Percentage distribution of training data per condition.

FieldDescription
ICD-11 CodeInternational classification code
% of images in training datasetPercentage distribution
Highly Sensitive Information

This information is extremely sensitive and should rarely be shared. Clients typically do not need to know the percentage distribution of training data. Only share this information if:

  1. The prospect is extremely insistent
  2. It is a critical deal breaker
  3. Internal approval has been obtained

Always emphasize that this information is highly sensitive and proprietary.

Sharing guidelines: Follow the General Sharing Principles above. DO NOT share the entire database or complete file. Only share the percentage for the specific condition(s) the client is asking about. Always highlight that this information is very sensitive.
