Clinical Workflows

This section provides the implementation guidelines and clinical logic for developers working on the Lusíadas Iframe Integration project.

System Architecture & Logic

Patient Screening via Patient App

The patient initiates the process from home using the patient app when seeking a consultation for a dermatological issue.

Interaction Flow

This diagram details how the actors interact through the different platforms during the screening process:

Triage & Referral Logic

Based on the device's triage response, patients are routed either to Primary Care or Secondary Care.

Diagnosis Support & Severity Assessment via EHR

For healthcare professionals, the device is integrated directly into the Electronic Health Record (EHR). It serves as support not only for the diagnosis of the condition but also for any severity assessment required.
